Hi, Wellsboro-area locals and visitors! Check with us for activities and giveaways during this year's celebration of "Children's Book Week"! From My Shelf is just one of hundreds of libraries, bookstores, and community organizations hosting a number of great events for this important week! 

Children's Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country! Established in 1919, it is the annual celebration of books for young people and for the joy of reading. Each year during Children's Book Week, over 2,500 reading hours and author & illustrator events take place across the country at libraries, bookstores, and schools. 

We hope you'll join us for at least some of this great celebration.
