About the Author


Jo Butterworth launched BA and MA dance degrees in the UK, the Netherlands and Malta. She wrote Dance Studies: The Basics (2012), co-edited two editions of Contemporary Choreography: A Critical Reader (2009, 2018), and was awarded the DSA Distinction in Dance Award in 2018.Lorna Sanders has lectured within higher education in the UK and Europe. She edited the second edition of Fifty Contemporary Choreographers and leads the Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, London.
