Description
The last decade turned one of the fastest dances into an unrecognizable hash of slow thumping and gyrating movements. How did this happen?
How did one upbeat swing dance community become a haven of lies, corruption, drugs, and misogyny? How did it morph into an addictive and abusive culture that so many are calling a cult?
Join the author in her brave battle to return the dance of West Coast Swing (WCS) to its former glory. Rally with her as she attempts to save the hearts and minds of dancers across the world.
And watch as she is banished from her own community, harassed and stalked, only to respond with increasing passion and inspiration, culminating a brilliant exposition on the original Declaration of Independence and wraps her fellow revolutionaries with a truly loving ending. Setting Dancers Free is the follow-up to the author's bestselling debut Telling the Truth: The Foundational Articles of WCS.
