Description

It was early in the 1970's when I rode the Jundah Plains, a small town but a vast countryside. I worked the Caplin Station, a large cattle station, heading towards Longreach. The mob in the yards were a wild bunch but reliable, they would always have your back. There was Noat, a name given to him whilst sharpening axes years ago, consequently a job not to be undertaken when drunk leaving him with no toes on his left foot. Then there was Terry, the Romanian with attitude (Huh Imagine that ) As well as the Taylor brothers, Dave and Jack.
