About the Author

Mr. Notman has been interested in World War Two vehicles, particularly a 1942 Ford GPW jeep since 1980 when he bought one. He has dragged this jeep all over the country. Bought it in Florida, moved for training to California, then on to North Dakota for his military job. Five years later his job moved him to North Pole, Alaska. He had a blast in Alaska driving the jeep at -45F! Then he moved back to Florida. Retired from the Air Force in 1995 and then went back to work outside the Federal Government. In his spare time he writes or edits books related to WW2 jeeps, some of these are available through Amazon.com and others are available elsewhere. See his home page on www.42FordGPW.com for more.
