About the Author
Thomas Ault has written a series of "Jake" books to introduce pre-schoolers to the world of animals. He has been in sales, sales management, maintenenace, and janitorial services in his own company, and has lived in 8 states during his many years. He currently is retired, has five grandchildren and three great-grandchilden. He is currently writing short stories for a local newspaper, has published two books for readers from sixth grade to retirement (]). One of which, "Every Hour Counts," tells the life story of an 1879 clock and the conversations it has heard for over 100 years. From the poet, Browning's son, Pen, to the Wizard of Oz creator, L. Frank Baum, as well as other events of the time from the race riots of the early 20th century to the first Ford car, you will be held captive to its content. The other, "The Incident," is a murder mystery involing a pair of police detectives from Tampa Florida and a detective agency in Guntersville Alabama. How they end up solving the crimes are not described until the end of the book and it is one that will hold your interest until then. Neither book containes vulgarity and can be read by any mature reader.
