Rachel Ashwell founded the iconic Shabby Chic brand in 1989. Her online store offers high quality furniture, bedding, decor and flea-market finds. Rachel’s products can also be found globally at major retailers. In 2011 Rachel opened “The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell”—a bed and breakfast in Texas. Her previous titles published by CICO Books are Rachel Ashwell: Shabby Chic Interiors, Rachel Ashwell: Shabby Chic Inspirations and Beautiful Spaces, Rachel Ashwell: Couture Prairie, and Rachel Ashwell’s Painted Stories. She is based in Los Angeles.
