Shasta was born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee graduated from Tyner Academy. She attended Tennessee State University for a short period before returning to Chattanooga. She received her cosmetology license as well as a Media degree from Chattanooga State Community College. Shasta is currently blogging (Shastamignon.com) and launching more projects related to "The Weight She Carried".
