5.0 out of 5 stars Great The book was great and informational, plus I learned a lot of new stuff, like different types of birds to what they eat and wingspans, jump-height, if they can fly, and "special abilities" like the bird that can change the color of its neck depending on its mood.

Take the Australian Quokka for example. This animal is perhaps the cutest animal ever to have existed. It has been described by many as a living Teddy Bear. It has no fear of people and interacts freely. But this species also has a sinister side. When it feels threatened by a predator, the Quokka will throw its offspring at the predator as a sacrifice, as the parent escapes to safety.
