Jonathan's Cute Critters is a Spot the Differences Book. The "cute critters" are drawn in the Kawaii (Japanese for "cute") style and include robots, fish, cats, dogs, mice and other characters. There are thirty-three pairs of drawings, with five differences between each pair. Pages with solutions are included. A solution consists of a third picture, with differences circled. This book may be appropriate for young children, especially those between the ages of four and eight years old. Such children may find the characters appealing.

Jonathan Jay Brandstater makes his home in South Florida. His hobbies include creative writing, drawing, painting, sculpting and playing music. Mr. Brandstater's favorite book genre is children's literature, especially activity books. His sources of inspiration include Dr. Seuss, Maurice Sendak and Douglas Adams.
