Toledo, 2023. Eleonor has realized that for years, she’s been living a life she doesn’t want. Trapped in a toxic relationship, in a city that suffocates her and an all-consuming job, she decides to return to Toledo, the city of her birth, and stay in her recently deceased grandfather’s house.  The ancestral family home, however, turns out to be almost as chaotic as her state of mind, cluttered with antiques and books in the process of being sorted - among them, a fraying diary dating back to the sixteenth century.
