Job's Wife, described in the citation for an award as "a splendid work... that lingers in the memory," is a one-act play in verse. It examines the response of Job's wife to the suffering of Job of the Bible. It won Philip Begho the 2002 ANA/NDDC Drama Prize.

PHILIP BEGHO is the author of several award-winning books. His wide-ranging interest has seen him in a varied career that has spanned journalism, banking, business, legal practice and university teaching. He has also engaged in film and theatrical production. He now works as a full-time writer, concentrating largely on children's literature and verse drama.
